Probs my fourth time ever playing techno, and it felt juicy to be given the trust to close the main room at Zero Chill, NYC's hottest function. After nearly 20 years of DJing—mostly known for house, sometimes ambient—it was a thrill to stretch into a harder, faster prime-time slot for a massive, raging warehouse. And since it was Pride, we had to oblige with a disco-flavored last hour to honor our ancestors.

I’ve never had so many people DM me after a set, and it’s got me inspired to keep exploring this direction in the techno landscape.

Special thanks to my dears Dirty Daddy Don and Physical Therapy for lacing me with some tracks for the night. It takes a village.

As the vibrations of Nocturnal Pride's peak hour melted into the surreal, SIRENS suddenly emerged calling us deeper into the seduction of sound. SIRENS is the ritual union of MORENXXX and LOKA—two visionary artists who summon sound as both weapon and worship. While they’ve both been hit solo acts at Nocturnal, they made their back-to-back debut for Nocturnal Pride. 

MORENXXX, known off the floor as Jesús Hilario Reyes, is a magnetic force from Chicago’s underground whose sets erupt with blistering rhythms, hypnotic percussion, and ecstatic intensity. A four-time-returning favorite, Jesús has helped shape the Nocturnal sound—(providing us with our most popular Nocturnal Sessions Live Set) guiding dancefloors through cyclonic, genre-dissolving journeys that push the body to riotous, contemplative heights. LOKA (Yesenia Rojas) made her Nocturnal debut early this year, drawing from a rich lineage of sonic subversion. Her sets disrupt linearity and expectation—blurring experimental textures, percussive ecstasy, and avant-club surrealism into one visceral current.
