On New Year’s Eve 2024, I had the honor of playing a DJ set at Réveillon Duna – an extraordinary and exclusive celebration held in the stunning Lençóis Maranhenses, Brazil. The festival took place in a protected reservoir hidden within the dunes of this surreal desert landscape, making it one of the most unique and unforgettable locations I’ve ever played at.

The production was absolutely world-class: intimate, thoughtfully designed, and carried out with so much love and attention to detail. The crowd was incredible – kind-hearted, open-minded, and extremely welcoming. It was an absolute joy to be part of this experience.

I had so much fun playing my set and I’m truly happy to finally share it with you.

"Kamai Music is beyond excited to present our latest release from one of the most uniquely talented voices in electronic music today. Kyong Sono delivers a brilliant three-track EP titled Edelstein. The tracks were conceived and recorded in his Berlin, Kreuzberg studio, where he works with a mix of analog gear, and softsynths. His approach is deeply tactile—more performance than programming. The result is music that feels alive: pulsing, breathing, and constantly shifting. In short, this is art in its purest form. The release opens with ""Drøms"", a warm, rolling track with sharp detail and a melodic undercurrent that draws you in without overreaching. The title track, “Edelstein”—the German word for gem—is exactly that: a tightly crafted dancefloor mover with a perfect blend of drive and bounce, controlled yet energetic. Wrapping things up, ""Lost"" couldn’t be more aptly named. It drifts into a more introspective space—melancholic, but grounded by a beautifully locked-in groove."
