„I’m Coretex, a Hong Kong Violence artist with several EPs under my belt and a performance at Dominator Festival last year. My DJ sets and productions are rooted in a deep passion for Hardcore, not driven by anger.

Hardcore mixing, for me, is all about momentum. I draw inspiration from legends like Akira and Unexist, whose hip hop-influenced DJ style is fast, raw, and powerful. 

This 2025 promo mix is a reflection of my vision: Hardcore at high speed, but with depth. “Uptempo” often dominates the scene, I want to spotlight a different energy, uncompromising Hardcore that stands apart from trends. This track is a journey through emotional destruction and healing. It begins with the feeling of giving someone a piece of your heart—only to have it crushed. The weight of that emotional damage builds up slowly, layer by layer, until it explodes in an intense release of raw energy, with screeches and heavy, distorted melodies reflecting the chaos inside.

But in the second half, there's a shift. The pressure eases. Like a butterfly emerging from a cocoon, there's transformation. The pain gives way to clarity, the noise to calm. Slowly, the light comes back in.

While producing this track, the emotional weight of the story hit me so hard I cried. It touched something deep in me—and in that moment, I rediscovered my love for making music. This piece is unlike anything I’ve created before. It’s not just a song—it’s a release, a rebirth, and a reminder of the power of sound to heal.
