All Tomorrow's Parties  is an organisation based in London that has been promoting festivals, concerts and records throughout the world for ten years. It was founded by Barry Hogan in 1999 in preparation for the first All Tomorrow's Parties festival, the line-up of which was curated by Mogwai and took place in the unusual setting of Pontins Holiday Camp, Camber Sands. Since then the festival has appeared every year, and continues to set itself apart from festivals like Reading or Glastonbury by staying intimate, non-corporate and fan-friendly. Another vital difference is that the line-ups are chosen by significant bands or artists, resulting in unpredictable and exciting events which combine performances by legendary and influential acts with appearances by the latest crop of experimental artists from any (and every) musical genre. The All Tomorrow's Parties festival has become more successful with every passing year, moving in 2006 to a larger holiday camp. It has taken place in the UK, USA and Australia

ATP Recordings is a record label started in 2001 by London concert promoter Barry Hogan, who heads the All Tomorrow's Parties organisation, which has been promoting its world renowned festivals and concerts since 2000. The label was originally created to bring out a compilation CD featuring artists from the line-up of a Tortoise curated All Tomorrow's Parties event. As well as further compilations released to coincide with their festivals, the label soon expanded, signing bands and releasing their records: sometimes for the European market where their records had no distribution, but also on a worldwide basis with artists old and new.

The label has notably released the first album by the reunited Magic Band, and also acclaimed albums from Bardo Pond, Deerhoof and Australia's The Drones. The label develops new home-grown talent such as Alexander Tucker and Fuck Buttons, and has also worked to release records by such varied luminaries as Apse, Autolux, Spiritualized, Built To Spill, Sleepy Sun, Death Vessel, Fursaxa, Jackie-O Motherfucker, The Scientists, Threnody Ensemble and White Out (with Jim O'Rourke). Steve Mramor was born into a musical family and raised in a home where music was a constant presence. Both of his parents sang, and his father played in a well-loved local band. 

Steve, a self-taught guitarist, started his own musical career in a high school band in his hometown of Euclid, Ohio. After nearly 30 years, his love of playing music was reawakened when he heard Raven Dana and her daughter singing in a local coffee house. 

Steve and Raven formed a band called Witch and Toad and collaborated on the album “You Can Never Go Home Again.” Their original music is played on Cleveland area radio stations as well as several Internet radio stations including Muse Boat Radio, the Cox Radio Show, Woman of Substance and Live Ireland. They and their music have been featured on Celtica Radio’s Underground Edition with Bill Everatt (Wales UK, Radio Hafren, 756kHz AM) and on Radio Seagull, 1602 AM, Harlingen, Netherlands. 

Steve’ first loves remain composition and songwriting. In addition to continuing with Witch and Toad, he pursues a solo career and currently is working on an album of new originals titled “Fat Tod and Other True Cleveland Stories.” Steve is also involved in a partnership with fellow Clevelander Charley Brown. Steve and Charley play various venues in the area and continue to create new music together.


I'm a songwriter/artist from the deep south, my house was a quarter of a mile up a gravel road from Hank Williams Jr.  A little green and wet behind the ears a young aspiring musician of 17 knocked on the door of Hank Williams Jr.'s manager Merle Kilgore (writer of 'Burning Ring of Fire').  He directed me to his office where he politely listened to my songs for 45 minutes. To this day I'm not sure why he listened, I had only been playing the guitar for 3 months.

I followed the ghosts of great musicians into buildings that will soon be forgotten and will only be remembered by those old enough to have brushed with them.  In the studios of Muscle Shoals I played music alongside a drummer who played in the Buckingham Palace before the queen of England and who also sat on TV before the king of comedy Johnny Carson on the Tonight Show.  As the man who played "Born to Be Wild" for the legendary Steppenwolf band sat by a keyboard, I wondered "who was going to play my guitar part?"  For you see, growing up in those days it seemed the gap between musicians was very wide but today its just click away on the keyboard of a computer.  We recorded on one take and as I walk out I was greeted by one of the owners of the studio into Mike McGuire's office, the drummer for the country hit band Shenandoah.  Jokingly I asked him if I could get a picture of me holding his CMA award.  He said sure and once again I touched greatness.  

One day in Muscle Shoals, I played in a coffee house.  I invited many of my friends who pledged they would drive there to show their support.  Only one showed, the man who played before the Queen of England.  But you don't have to drive to see me I'm here and you are welcome to my music!  Thanks for being here.

The gap has closed.  The face of the business has changed.  Internet gives me the chance to share my music with you.
