After a heavy bank holiday weekend, this week was always going to be a tough gig. Thankfully, we’ve got the perfect pick me up to help us to get through the next few days and looking forward to the weekend; hooking up with British 'all-rounder' Ejeca to exclusively share a fresh cut from his uber impressive Litmus EP.

Out now via his own Exploris imprint, the three track salvo showcases the Belfast producer's much vaunted versatility in the studio with each number on the EP seemingly designed to deliver the goods at a different time of night. Acidic, minimal and melodic in equal measure, it's one of the most impressive packages to land in our inbox in quite some time which made picking out which track we'd like to premiere all the more difficult. Eventually we plumped for the stripped back stylings of Ascension, which has had us thawing out those boogying muscles for the past few days.

Cleverly constructed and certain to rank as some of the freshest techno currently on the market, The Litmus EP suggests that Ejeca and Exploris' respective purple patches shows no sign of abating anytime soon. Enjoy.

Following releases on labels like Elevate or Phobiq, which gained support by the likes of Ben Klock, Rodhad, Sam Paganini, Matrixxman and many others, Konrad makes his OFF Recordings debut.

The EP kicks off with 'Made In Detroit', a bigroom chord-techno anthem.

'Acid House' delivers what the name promises, a stripped back beat is topped by a massive acid line and eponymous vocals.

'Temptation' follows a similar vein as 'Made In Detroit' adding a memorable vocal and massive pads in its break.

Berlin's techno stalwart DJ Emerson delivers a deadly functional stripped back remix, taking things to an even more straightforward direction.

Johannes Volk‘s career began in 2006 with a real bang. "The Mysteries Of Tharsis Montes" 12 inch debut from the vinyl collector was released by none other than techno virtuoso Jeff Mills on his Purpose of Mission 6277 label. A special accolade indeed, which proves Volk’s aesthetic connection to Detroit Techno, something he also demonstrates regularly on his own label Exploration Records. Following on from the "Tears and Walls" EP, his second release on Cocoon Recordings continues the tonal reference to the origins of techno in a highly unique style. "Nevergreen", with its driving sequencer synth, is a furious and mechanical workout with a harsh industrial vibe and unbelievable string textures that will shake the dance floor to its foundations. On the B-side "Awareness", Volk conjures up an unforgettably romantic soundscape without sacrificing any energy. After a solid minute, the foggy horizon opens up to one of those rare yet incredibly valuable moments, when you suddenly want to embrace the whole world from inside the club. With "Nevergreen" Cocoon Recordings presents an outstanding new 12" release to usher in 2019 and in doing so, sets a high standard for the coming year.

We continue to bring you the latest premiere's, this time we're delighted to bring you Alan Fitzpatrick's Simpatico track from the massive upcoming 'Electric Soul Music Vol.2' VA on  'We Are The Brave'.

Alan Fitzpatrick is a name that needs no introduction, having built and maintained his sound since his first major release on Drumcode in 2009, to establishing his own label 'We Are The Brave' which is known for it's consistency in it's releases and support for rising talent.

Following the success of Electric Soul Music Vol.1, We Are the Brave have announced a new collection of 18 stunning tracks from a hand-picked selection of established artists, label favourites and up and rising stars who have caught the boss’ attention.

'Simpatico' sees Alan Fitzpatrick in seriously fine form with a minimalist warehouse groove that hypnotises from the off. Melodic and relentless, the trance lead evolves over the course of the track only revealing itself fully midway.
