Mitchell Isaacs aka Lyrick  was born on the 8 December 1989 in Durban Wentworth a place known for violence and drugs.
He saw music as a way out , he later went to Fairvale High School and that’s where he developed his love for hip hop music .While in Fairvale High School he was apart of a hip hop group , which he later left to work on his own .
 
Mitchell Isaacs aka Lyrick went into Deejaying after he had finished his matric , through this he had meet Dj Leeshay which was a local dj from his area but only in 2009 he then started working with Dj Leeshay , who is the founder of REAL MUSIC RECORDS .
Mitchell Isaacs aka Lyrick was taken on as a hip hop artist at REAL MUSIC RECORDS and this was the beginning of his life as a hip hop artist.
Lyrick since then has performed with a local band from his city called THE BIG IDEA at big events in his city. 
He also has performed at shows in Johannesburg and Cape Town.
He describes his music as been unique with a twist and says that many people will be able to relate to his music.
He is now a member of Starlight Productions which is founded by Brandon Petersen , where he continues to make music.
