KK is no newcomer to the Tanzanian music scene, making his debut in the 90s as a child rapper and member of the legendary Kwanza Unit crew, he has been active musically over the years, operating primarily in the underground and open mic circuits in London & his hometown of Dar es Salaam.

A talented lyricist with a knack for witty wordplay; KK’s rhymes and style encompass elements from a varied number of musical and cultural sources with his lyrics often touching on real life experiences and a wide-range of subject matter.  
“L’Animal EP” is the upcoming debut studio release from KK and scheduled for release in November 2014.

DJ Vasley has become a force managing radio shows, TV appearances and international touring gigs. A resident DJ at the number one radio
station 88.9 Wasafi FM. 
His sets consist of an agile blend of Afrobeats, Afro-House, R&B, Hip Hop, House, Deep house, Reggae and Dancehall.

Started in 2006 at The University At Buffalo. I started this DJ journey after seeing a producer DJ in the studio with a bunch of T-Pain records, I just became hooked. I've had a pretty fun career so far playing in multiple countries such as Trinidad, Bermuda, United Kingdom, Italy, & Tanzania. Based in NYC, I've played the biggest clubs NYC has to offer. 
My style is open format, with a focus on Caribbean, Hip Hop/R&B, Top 40, & Afrobeat's. Quick mixes are my thing, leaving the listener wanting more!

Wakazi believes he has something to prove to first Tanzania, and then the rest of Africa, that he deserves a spot among the Best. With the release of Seven Mixtapes (MYU: The Trilogy, Utatu Mtakatifu, Live From Stakishari, Mtikila, The Massacre) in the past years, “Abacus EP” and his debut Album “Kisimani LP” which dropped early 2018, Wakazi has set the platform with which his dreams could be fulfilled. The sky is the limit for this TZee Emcee.
