Welcomed with open arms by new and old faces, New York has long been a favorite playground for Lushbunny. Buoyed by the movie Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, each song in this podcast has been carefully chosen to provide as a soundtrack as well as an emotional journal for the various experiences he felt during this trip. The Admiral, as he’s affectionately called, pioneered the radical process of turning sound into useable energy. The hero of the battle of Ganymede against the dreaded Cyborg Noodles. Known as the Uniter of Callisto for negotiating the peace accord between the Techno Rompers and House Cybergrind. The Admiral possesses all of the cunning and willpower of a true hero. Wesley Holmes has been integral in the Northwest’s DJ & dance community for the past 25+ years. He was a part of a core group that pioneered the house music scene in Seattle and helped provide a foundation for the thriving dance scene that transpires in Seattle today through an extensive list of club/event productions, residencies, radio work, and behind the scenes efforts over the years. Wesley’s abilities behind the decks, musical depth, and outright love for underground music resonates through his infectious dj sets and mixes. Wesley’s current residencies with Flammable, Lost and Upper Left keep him both on the front edge of the underground and in front of some of the largest electronic music audiences in the NW.

Six months into the pandemic, and we are still just staring at the void, while the void is laughing back at us.  Lushpod #55 was recorded in Uplifter's Ranch, in the same neighborhood that Frank Baum wrote the Wizard of Oz.  From the frenetic spoken words of Kate Tempest to tracks from Husky, Joe Vannelli, Citizenn, Animal Trainer, Guy Gerber, and Idris Elba, this mix vibrates in ebbs and flows.

Mardi Gras is cancelled this year, so the amazing city of New Orleans came up with the Krewe of House Floats. I live in the Irish Channel and the theme of my neighborhood is "Channel Surfing".

I put together this mix to help get any stay at home Mardi Gras party started b/c "You can take the Mardi Gras out of New Orleans, but you can’t take the New Orleans out of Mardi Gras!"

Silence decorator and curator of fine grooves formerly known has Jacques the Ripper , Jacques started playing at house parties for friends thirsty for good music and good vibes, then it  quickly progressed to playing small to medium events and West coast festivals. A long life bedroom dj and music lover he ended up at the  Burning Man festival where the desire to move from the dance floor to behind the decks happened. Founder of the infamous "kundalini lounge" and  the "Groove lounge " his  musical journey continued all over the US west coast, Mexico, Colombia, Thailand and his native birth country  of France. Able to read a crowd ,possessing  an eclectic library of heavy bass lines , sexy beats and melodic grooves he can adapt to various vibes and take the dance floor on epic journeys. Late night sexy vibes or memorable sunrise sets is where he exels and feels right at home. Unable to perform during the pandemic he started producing with close producer friends and released 3 tracks and is working on new ones . Focused on music and not social media his relentless thirst for  sharing music and making people dance  is has fresh as his first sets in front of his friends back in the days.
