DJ - Deepvibes Radio (www.deepvibes.co.uk)

Currently into Deep House, Disco, Electronica and production, working on favourite tracks to play in DJ sets. My regular monthly show on Deepvibes Radio goes out every 3rd Saturday of the month, 8pm-10pm UK time.
A wide and varied background in music, originally promoting gigs, writing fanzines and releasing flexi-discs by cool bands. Originally got into DJ-ing at the back end of the 80’s and DJ’ed at most North West venues in the 90’s alongside some of the big names of the era. Inspired by many regular nights at Yellow in Manchester, later diversified from playing House into Soul, Funk & Disco music. Resident at Space, Manchester for many years with my Outta Sight night. A return to playing House music has prompted numerous gigs at various clubs and festivals.

Long time on and off DJ. Started with twin tape decks around '87 doing edits of prince tracks and mix-tapes. 

Residency at Sugar nightclub in Leamington Spa, upstaging some main room acts in my 4-hr set basement lair.

Moved to New Zealand and settled in Queenstown starting at the Tardis spinning hip-hop and funk then getting a full free hand at Barup (along with designing their logo) - Big nights there, big sets (up to 9hrs) with the whole place jumping and friends made throughout the nights.

Have had a break but now back into it with a summer residency in the works. I like to play all kinds of stuff - Dubstep, Jazz, Funk, Disco, House, Hiphop, and more wildcards than any casino would allow. Known to create a 'good vibe' in this land of segregated DJ sets!

Astro-D is a pioneer of local electronic music scene, started djing in Athens at early 90's, with techno, trance and break tunes, in several famous clubs of the scene, like Lobby, Free Your Bass, Mad, Sofita, Goa, Monopolio, Rex, Taiga, Vavel, Mercedes, Privilege and many others. He was also djing on several radio stations like Spice FM, Kanali 1, Sky Fm, and Storm Radio .++, mixing old school techno tunes (R&S, Rising High, React, Tresor, ZYX) and breaks (XL, Suburban, White House, Kickin, Boogie Beat Time).
In the mid 90's he created Overtune mobile team, making many mobile parties with lot of guests dj's and live P.a's. Nowdays found him continuing his djing, playing many styles, from old school Goa, psytrance, psy-prog etc.AT 2012 he performed at aurora festival ,i lve you fest,and underground noise+space alchemy lab partys he is alsos an active dj of Space Alchemy Lab,and Kupuri music mexico! Coocking up ya brain!!!!

AstroCold is a side project of Astro-D, known primarily for his psychedelic and trance-infused sounds. With AstroCold, he shifts gears into the darker, moodier territory of New Wave and Post-Punk, infusing the genre’s signature brooding atmosphere with his cosmic, space-age aesthetic.AstroCold explores the lonelier corners of the galaxy, reflecting on solitude in a post-human world. The sound is nostalgic yet futuristic, like flipping through old VHS tapes aboard a derelict spacecraft
