@nightmares-on-wax “I made this mix after my interview and conversation with Ralph Moore for Mixmag, and it's inspired by lots of the music and references we were discussing. I wanted to do a mix for Mixmag you wouldn’t usually get going through soul, funk, reggae, disco, R&B and house. All the songs are tunes I’ve been digging this past year during the pandemic. I had a lot of fun digging records for this mix and recorded it live in my studio The Other Ship in Ibiza.”

We proudly present the 21st edition of Wemoto Radio featuring Rollover DJs. Rollover DJs are the founders and resident DJs of the popular namesake party in Milan. The duo began their career playing at small clubs and private parties linked to the fashion scene, near and along the hip canals area of Milan. From word-of- mouth amongst the in-crowd, their parties gained popularity fast, and in the meantime the duo’s music also evolved, creating a unique dark disco/house mix with roots firmly in ‘70s funk, New Wave and Afrobeat.

For our final mix of 2022, we are proud to present Zillas on Acid.

Zillas on Acid is a cosmic love affair consisting of Thomas Roland and James Weissinger. 

Recognisable as resident DJs for an impressive fifteen years (and counting) at MAKING TIME, Philadelphia's never-ending nightlife institution, they released their first EP in 2017. 

Since then they have released an impressive discography of releases and remixes across some killer labels; Optimo Music, Les Disques de la Mort, Multi Culti and Microdosing to name only a few. Along the way, they’ve garnered support from futuristic fellow travellers like Roman Flügel, Dixon, Jennifer Cardini, Justin Strauss, Bradley Zero, Sean Johnston, and many others.

Deep in the studio or out in the club, the Zillas are known across the cosmos for their signature blend of slow-motion death disco, dubbed-out drum machine music, and of course ACID to excite party people from all planets.

CC SELECTS AT HOME - AMBIENT MIX BY KASPER BJØRKE

Jay Rossi aka Jac the Disco has spent the last 16 years DJ’ing in some of London’s hottest late night dancing spots and beyond. He’s released on labels such as San Francisco’s Roam Recordings, Amsterdam's Silhouette Music, Night Noise, Eclectics and US label Wonder Stories which saw his release ‘highest heights’ hit the Number 1 spot on Juno’s Disco Chart the following month after its release. His carefully executed productions have gained notable DJ and radio support from some of dance music’s finest; including the likes of Mano Le Tough, Michael Mayer, Ewan Pearson, B:Traits, Superpitcher, Ashley Beadle, Massimiliano Pagliara, Ame, Booka Shade and Jennifer Cardini to name a few.
 
Originally hailing from The UK’s South Coast and of French, Italian, UK decent, Rossi was first exposed to electronic music during the early 90s where he frequented clubs where the likes of Sasha, Terry Farley and Clive Henry were regular fixtures. It was here where Rossi carved his trade through listening and observing the dj’s at work. 

Best known for his heady mix of nu disco, dreamy balearic, psychedelic house and synth-driven techno along with his ability to read the dance floor has enabled him to work a crowd either warming up with sleazy laid back grooves or ramping things up into peak-time misbehaviour and up into the stratosphere.
