On this Afo day, I finally release this mix I made for the children in an elder's shrine sometime last month. It was prophetic for myself as the sounds and lyrics became the soundtrack to my captivity in solitary confinement. 

It was all I could hear in the face of the police brutality me and my brothers experienced, which blesses the creation even more as it becomes an offering to my own survival and freedom and longing for otherwise.

The plight for Justice is bigger than one sensational occurrence in visible history. It is a plight bigger than the linearity of time and what meets the eyes. It is about Land. My mother is justice, I dedicated my life 222 it.

I have learnt and chosen a history that wrapped, provided and protected me in the end. It's a miracle to create towards change, it's even more of an honor to be protected by the miracle of said creation.

This mix is for creators, may it be the soundscape to the creation of something special that will protect us in the end.
