This is the promo mix that I recorded on 3 turntables to distribute at Shambhala 2011.  I got through about 150 but if you didn't get a chance to nab a hard copy, stream/download from here.. And please, let me know what you think!

Pretty stoked on how this one turned out, it's kind of all over the place - which is why I called it 'fractured sentiments'.. oh, and there's also the fact that I started working on this while I was laid up after breaking my ankle in two places, &amp; used my Xray's for the cover art.  Morbid, right? Just a bit, though. Anyway, many thanks to the artists that contributed dubs for the project.. The tracklisting seems to be too long to fit in the soundcloud description so message me and I'll see if I can track it down for you

Meet Barisone: a true tastemaker whose sets are almost as beloved as the man behind the music; and for good reason. Between his curation of the Wake the Town party series based in Portland, OR alongside local dons PRSN and Danny Corn, his status as a household name in the underground electronic music community up and down the West Coast, and his impressive resume of performances everywhere from Shambhala to Burning Man to Bass Coast, it was only a matter of time before we had him on mix duties for Booms and Claps. Every Barisone mix has an entirely unique feel to it, but his signature sound always shines through, no matter the context, and the same can certainly be said for BnC Mix 035. No wonder he’s now grown to become a fixture on the decks at both festivals as well as faves like Bass Coast and Envision.

LiT MIX 015 :: SHINY THINGS ::

March began with my pulling tracks together from producers I was scheduled to perform alongside later that month for a spring promo mix - namely Sam Binga, Rider Shafique, DJ Madd, Handsome Tiger & Captivate.
As the month progressed and all of the gigs were cancelled, it evolved into this full-length concept mix. Some of the vocal tracks talk about anxiety and isolation while some songs take on entirely new significance, given the current COVID-19 context - others are so excessively contradictory to current mandates that they end up bordering on comical. I didn't set out with the mission of attaching a theme to the mix, so it certainly wanders - but as a whole, I feel it comes together cohesively.
