Striding in pace with Blues-inspired rhythms and a strong loudspeaker filled with a Folk Mac Backing band, that only a Trojan-Horse virus could disrupt, Silvester has been marking his place playing one crowd at a time, bringing passion onto the stage. Silvester's plans aspire to inspire others through a roaring innovative performance.

Breaking between guitar, vocals, and electronics, Silvester's stage show is reminiscent to a 90's grunge band who fell off onto a polka dance floor with Floyd Rose covered acoustics. It's his soul in the music, and your hungry ears that will make this one act not to be missed.

Mitch Silvester released his first self produced EP titled "Cold Novemeber Rain" on January 21st 2013, which brought him to many great venues and audiences, from living rooms, to festivals and everything else in between.

Violently Free is Christopher D. Hillsgrove, it began as a composition of poems that gradually morphed into songs (rough demos).  Within each song there are elements of the artist and bands that influenced me as a person and a musician.   Bands such as brand new, taking back sunday, hum, neutral milk hotel, vision of disorder, machinehead, at the drivin, social distortion, pixies, nirvana, slipknot, dropkick murphy's, flogging molly, joy division, iggy pop, modest mouse, the honorary title, deftones, manchester orchestra,  rancid, mars volta, blink 182, and violent femmes. As a song writer I try to convey complex social and life issues into a simple metaphor.  I always thought there is something to be said about a simple catchy song that people can take something from.

Known for his work fronting the enigmatic rock band Pedro the Lion, David Bazan’s emotionally charged narratives, eye for telling detail, and mournful voice have more in common with J.D. Salinger’s “Nine Stories” or Flannery O’Connor’s “Wise Blood” than with the usual lyrical slant of popular music. Bazan is a gifted storyteller, weaving parables of spiritual conflict, suburban ennui, and personal surrender into magnetic, well-crafted songs.

His debut solo full-length album, Curse Your Branches (out now on Barsuk), is a masterwork by a modern American poet at the height of his powers. Paste Magazine called him one of the “100 Best Living Songwriters”. This record is the deepest and most explicit exploration of his struggles with faith and a meditation on all things passed between the generations.
