A wise man once said: “Make Italo Disco Great Again”.
His name was Guido Balboa.

From there, Romain FX, after having camped his studio at this Italian’s home for a couple of years in Hong Kong, had an epiphany. 
He made a track using this genius tagline on Boots & Legs from Australia and wanted to take this phrase even further. And so this compilation was born. 

Scouting unknown and more known talents, Romain would put together a compilation full of cheesy goodness for dance-floors ready tunes right in time for open-airs this summer of 21 after a long danceless year. For the first volume, A-team guests were asked to partake in the adventure, we have Bijou, Franz Scala, Alberto Melloni, Doctor, Berny, Daniele Monaco and Romain FX.

Expect cheese and more cheese.

Colombian-born, New York-raised producer and instrumentalist Felipe Quiroz aka Prince of Queens brings his unique synthesis of trans-Caribbean culture with house and techno to Razor-N-Tape on his ‘Merida EP’. 
 
Known for releases on Names You Can Trust and his band Combo Chimbita, this lush and varied EP invites you into a world where vintage tropical sounds and modular synthesizers live side-by-side. With six tracks stretched across the two sides, the record explores a wide range of tempos and electronic Latin vibes and boasts gorgeous cover art that suits the emotion of the music perfectly. Although he is a seasoned producer, Prince of Queens is still a relatively new name on the club scene…but with this definitive musical statement it’s a name that the heads will remember.

Shade of Sounds is pleased to welcome Warriors Of The Dystotheque for their debut release on the label with 'All The Sounds We Cannot Hear', a contender for a late summer Balearic anthem. A swirling arp, emotive strings and haunting guitars are fused with a Peter Saville vocal hook to combine into a blissed out sunrise theme. The 'CP1919' version is a dubbier take, presenting a late night ALFOS vibe. Balearic Jukebox's 'Italo Chug' mix does what it says on the tin while the Joe Morris 'Sunrise To Sunset' mix chills things out again, adding lazy drums and dramatising the strings and guitar for a perfect end of night moment.

After Jungle vibes, Cantonese clubs, Bollywood warehouse we now venture into the Italian mob. This released is composed of edits by Kix from Japan, Native Red from Russia and usual suspect RFX from Hong Kong.
