Joined by a new guest every week, Jaeger Mix will feature some of the best, established and nascent talents from an international club community, for an exclusive mix that will put a unique spin on our Sunday evenings.
Jæger Mix is about the seamless transitions and how that connection extends beyond the music and the DJ to the people on the floor, with the focus on downtempo, progressive and deep; and it’s various interpretations. We extend the connection even further into the digital realm each week, giving mixes the opportunity to live outside the here and now, with every recorded session available afterwards for you to re-live the experience or just to meander into a new musical personality through a selection of records.

One Of Those Days

Clara Da Costa presents the last show for 2024 love on Pure Ibiza Radio with a slightly more uplifting vibe to finish the year. Feat tracks from Yulia Niko, Mihai Popoviciu, Djeblai, Mostly Magic, Fletch, Alex Arnout presents Black Logic, Legit Trip, Tre Reynolds & Carlo Gambino, and also a dedication to our dear friend, and the legend that is Alfredo at the end of the show.

Don Quan is another in a long list of newcomers that has been lighting up our dance floors in the last year or two. Alongside the likes of Synne and Schmooze and Brus, the DJ is currently contributing to the rich sonic tapestry of Oslo’s club music scene. 

It’s contained within his contribution to the Jaeger Mix, going from those metallic digital sounds of Paul Hardcastle in the eighties to modern Garage rhythms. Everything is contemporised with a modern production sheen that ties disparate genres and styles together. 

Like his DJ counterparts there’s an all-embracing foundation to his musical tastes that permeates this generation’s DJ mixes. The sponge-like manner in which he and the like  absorb influences, is channeled into individual sounds with a laser-like focus on the dance floor. A familiar presence on either side of the booth, Don Quan’s experiences on either side of the booth is cemented in this mix. 

Don Quan is something of MC Kaman protégé, following the unbridled encouragement, if not the advice of the latter. We know little else of the newcomer and took the opportunity to find out more while we listen back to his Jaeger mix.

Robb Swinga, hailing from Connecticut, delivered an electrifying hour-and-a-half set for Roots Run Deep, seamlessly blending house music with jackin’ house influences, rich jazz undertones, and the undeniable essence of hip-hop. His deep-rooted passion for music began early, shaped by his mother’s record collection, his brother’s 45s, and late-night radio shows featuring legends like Red Alert. However, it was his first encounter with the underground scene—thanks to DJ Roman Ricardo at the Tunnel—that truly ignited his musical journey.

From collecting records by icons like Todd Terry, MAW, and Frankie Knuckles to mastering the art of beat-making, Robb’s dedication to the craft runs deep. His time at INDI Distribution, working with influential labels such as Strictly Rhythm, Nervous Records, and Henry Street, gave him a front-row seat to the evolution of house music. Learning from the very DJs and producers who shaped the scene, he developed a signature sound that fuses rhythmic groove, soulful elements, and driving beats.

Hip-hop has always been a key influence in his music, from the way he layers percussion to the raw energy that fuels his sets. You can hear it in the way he chops samples, the bounce of his basslines, and the way his transitions feel like a DJ cutting up records on a turntable. His Roots Run Deep set was a perfect fusion of house and hip-hop sensibilities, delivering an unforgettable blend of head-nodding grooves and deep, soulful rhythms.

Bergen artist and DJ House on Sale comes to the Jaeger mix, and we’re definitely buying what he’s selling. Rooted in House music, but clearly expansive in his definition of the genre, House on Sale’s mix permeates with soulful and organic sounds as he travels from Disco to Deep House across 2 hours.

House on sale is a rising star on Bergen’s House music scene, and his night, Disco Paradiso and regular appearances in the city’s DJ booths have made fixture. For his first visit to Oslo, he takes on the Jaeger mix with effortless charm, channelling his sound into 2 hours during his session.

After the success of her sophomore LP Dance Therapy, Ora The Molecule has been a name on everybody’s lips. Ora (Nora Schelderup) has been a sought after live performer and DJ, travelling the world from her home base just outside of Oslo. From NRK to Beats in Space, she’s been making an impact globally with her unique space-aged Disco sound.

Dance Therapy followed Human Safari underpinning a sound taken from Italo Disco and Norway’s Space Disco scene, where together with stars like Todd Terje and Prins Thomas, Ora the Molecule now makes up the firmament. Her musical journey travels through space and time touches on distant worlds where nostalgia and her distinct pop sensibilities form the fabric of an indelible sound. 

An acclaimed artist and performer, Ora The Molecule is also an adept DJ, and after a move back to Norway, she’s been a regular fixture in DJ booths across town. Tying that red thread between her own music and the music filling her record bag, she took on the Jaeger Mix with her usually Disco charm.

From Lindstrøm to Hannes Bieger, she charted an intergalactic 2 hour journey from our sauna. Recorded during the last of the hazy summer days this year, it leaves with a bounce in our step and a song in our ear as we listen back to her mix today. We touch down in Ora’s world to grab a few quotes from the artist and DJ as she continues to chart a trajectory to the stars.

The Jaeger Mix is Oslo’s monthly ritual for deep listening and dance floor exploration, a midweek club night that doubles as a living archive of the city’s underground.
Taking place on select Wednesdays, the series pairs Jaeger resident Ivaylo with a rotating cast of DJs, producers, and live acts, capturing the sound of the night and preserving it as part of Jaeger’s ongoing story.
Each session is recorded in the club, followed by an interview with the guest, and later published as a feature on jaegeroslo.no - In this way, the Jaeger Mix lives beyond the dance floor — a document of Oslo’s electronic music culture, framed both in sound and in words.
Guiding the series is Ivaylo, a Bulgarian-born, Oslo-based DJ, producer, and curator. A long-standing Jaeger resident, label manager for Full Pupp, and founder of Lab Cleaning Jams, he has spent decades shaping Nordic club culture with his deep, soulful, and uncompromising approach to house and techno. His role in the Jaeger Mix is less about the spotlight and more about curation — weaving his own sets together with those of guests to tell the evolving story of the dance floor.
The Jaeger Mix stands as both a celebration of the present and a chronicle for the future, mapping Oslo’s nightlife one night, one mix, and one conversation at a time.
