Janaye Adams-Ombala, known professionally as Nay The Producer is a Female Producer/Song-writer/Artist/Audio-Engineer. Born in Oakland, CA, lived in San Pablo with her Mother. Then from middle school through high school she resided in Vallejo, CA. Nay was introduced to music at the age of 3, through her Mother. Who was apart of a West African dance company. Nay got her passion for music at the age of 3 when she wanted to play the drum but was too small. She was allowed to play the bell because she could stay on beat. She got her interest in R&B from her Mother.
At age 7, Nay lost her mother to an illness which moved her back and forth to Chicago and California, living between her Uncle and Grandfather. She fell in love with jazz & classical, at a young age from living with her Grandfather moving all over The Bay Area. From Richmond, San Rafael, Vallejo, San Francisco, SSF, Hercules and American Canyon.  Nay first learned how to play the trumpet in elementary in San Rafael later to move to Vallejo. There she played the trumpet in high school she later became drum major her senior year of high school.
She started producing music at the age of 19, she would visit the Apple store almost everyday to make beats in Garageband. It wasn't until age 21 that she was able to start producing professionally. She has a inexplicable vision, her style in music is very diverse from R&B, Hip Hop and Pop she is very unique. Nay strives to make inspirational music, from her instrumentals to her lyrics, her music will move you.
She moved to South San Francisco to Produce and Audio-Engineer at Land of 1000 Heads Studio. In 2011 Nay was dubbed the “Female Dr. Dre” at the iStandard Producers Showcase in the Bay Area by industry judges, Cozmo (Producer), Klypso (Producer) and J. Ellis (A&R of Rap A Lot Records). She released her freshman mixtape titled “Long Way From Home” December of 2011 to show her diversity and lyricism, which later turned into her 1st album. She was later picked up by Indie Hip Hop Label First Dirt in 2011 & went on the Northern CA portion of The Vintage tour with Timothy Rhyme. Unfortunately she was diagnosed with lupus in 2012. In 2013, she appeared on the Paid Dues Music Festival with First Dirt opening up for Macklemore & Kendrick Lamar which led to the FDCA Tour.
Nay later moved on to become CEO/Producer of HeirBourne Collection with the owner Rymeezee. She decided to go for her dreams and apply to go to college for music and she applied to SAE Institute a music production and engineering college. She graduated in December 2014.
