Set The Pace

I made this song as a tribute to those who have died from cancer, lost a loved one, or are hanging on to survive. I am selling my single to raise money for a loved one that is near and dear to my heart. She really needs the proper medication. Her insurance doesn't cover the cost and this is the only way I really know how to help. I really dont want to lose her and I really don't know what I would do if I did. In 2004 I lost my aunt to Lupus and now someone else I really love has it. It's definitely hard for me and I know its really hard for her. I just know I have to be strong for her at all times. "Murder Was The Case" was written and put together to provoke thought. The message in this Mixtape is based off the  death of our youth today and to display Jae "The Lyoness" different styles of lyricism. Every Beat she touches she Murders.  We used clips from "Boyz N Hood" to push the message even further. We must stop Murder among ourselves in our community to be taken seriously as people. This is dedicated to Jae "The Lyoness" aunt Shaunice who passed. She died when Jae was 14 from Lupus. Shaunice  was an Emcee as well and Jae is definitely caring the torch and living out her dream. This also was dedicated to the most supportive Family EVER the #LYONPVCK . Special Thanks to CATALYST & EVON UNIIQUE for holding it down on the feature.
