La palabra "romance" viene de Roma y algunos de los mejores poemas de amor vienen de las lenguas romance. Un romance que quedó en la antigüedad, reemplazado por la rapidez y el consumismo de la era moderna. "De Roma" es un adelanto del próximo LP de Kamila, llamado Rocío, una mezcla de electrónica downtempo y trip hop que nos llevan a los 90s. 

The word "romance" originated in Rome, and some of the best love poems come from the "Romance languages." Romance, which once thrived in ancient times, has been replaced by consumerism and the immediacy of modern life. "De Roma" is a preview of Kamila Govorcîn's upcoming LP, Rocío. It is a blend of downtempo electronic music and trip-hop, reminiscent of the 90s.

We welcome the Swiss newcomer Benotmane back on Stil vor Talent after
a year-long break, as he follows 2014's 'Sunqueen' with the impressive
'Cross Hands' EP. Kicking things off, 'Beyond' is a trance-leaning
peak-time track with a driving kick and an atmospheric synth-lead,
which also form the foundation of Karmon's reduced and epically
building remix. Due to the tension between melancholy and euphoria,
handled masterfully by Benotmane, 'Abydos' is equally mesmerizing. On
his remix, Niko Schwind then translates 'Abydos's hypnotic qualities
into a darker, surprisingly techno oriented framework. 'Lemha',
another original, proves to be a trip into a paranoid realm of
shadows, perfect for the late hours. Lastly the title-track 'Cross
Hands' manifests itself as a romantic closing track aided by a
bittersweet chimes. Impressive stuff!

Each release will focus around a unique structure, unfolding beauty to have as your own, to indulge upon, and to take with you wherever... lasting intricacy built through simplicity. 

Talking about the project, Sonic Future added 'Sometimes we get overloaded by tracks with tons of amazing effects, but no actual musical meaning. For the theme series, I decided to get back to basics. The idea is to present the music around specific melodies or chord progressions, giving a more minimalistic approach based on melodic themes, and building the tracks around motivic developments. The result is certainly more intimate, but I hope it resonates with today´s music.'

It took us longer than we thought but finally release no.20 is here and we have a special treat for you. Freshly signed by Connaisseur, 'Roman Rai' is back on our imprint with massive EP 'Perceptions Of Delusion'. First track of the same title is one of those tracks that will define this year here for us at Deepwave. Timeless, beautiful and simply breathtaking, not much more to say. Second track on A side 'Thoughts Are Gone' is a nice melodic ambient journey again showcasing Roman's artistic feel & creativity and expressing his feelings of past months. For first remix we invited our good friend and great producer 'Peter Pardeike' from Innervisions, and what a remix he delivers! Outstanding, dreamy, and captivating track which gets you in the zone and off ground right from the beginning. Second remix comes in hands of 'Ian Metty" who did his classical journey rework, underlined with nice afro bongos and floating atmospheres, topped with bells from original to get things moving. Whole release is coming out both on Vinyl & digital in December/January, 2017/18 respectively, and we would love you to play it and support it as we strongly believe this is a unique piece of music!
