Ghent-based producer ARtroniks steps up on Black Teeth Records’ second vinyl release, delivering a four-track evolution of his heavyweight, dub-infused sound, stripped down into a technoid dubstep framework.

Jah-Tek presents track two on the A-side, Backlash – a sharp, relentless arrangment that rides rolling triplets and a drill-like bassline, pushing forward with uncompromising soundsystem pressure.

An avid listener and DJ of electronic music for well over a decade, Agora has been a staple in the Ohio Valley Underground scene. His methodical mixing style and deep crates filled with cuts new and old are a testament to how hard he has worked to become the artist he is today. 

His role in helping run C-Side Productions’ “Old Louisville SoundSystem” has not only helped him become a well rounded asset behind the scenes, but it has also given him a deeper appreciation for the sounds that inspire everyone to get up and dance. His affiliation with Lexington, Kentucky based Bassweight Entertainment has also been a vessel for him to grow as an artist and help bring the sound to the people, whether it is through the system, through a set, or both.

Causing mischief in every form possible, Grimmlin searches high and low for sounds forgotten and unheard. Weaving his way through crunchy snares, soul-sucking subs, and all the dark mutations present in dnb, it makes for a deep and intense journey that is as alien as it is familiar.
