With an ear for all things dark, atmospheric and bass-driven, Idioteque has quickly been proving himself as an up-and-coming producer that you should keep firmly on your radar. Currently residing in London, he has largely been focusing on electronic music production within the realm of dubstep, 140 and Trip Hop, while previously gaining recognition in the world of drum and bass.

His music taste is more eclectic, coming from a background of learning various instruments at just 11 years old, and beginning to learn music production at 14. He therefore takes his musical inspiration not just from the broad scope of dance music, but also from rock, metal, alternative, hip-hop and beyond. This is something apparent across all his music so far, with a focus on mood and atmosphere over the genre tropes we may expect.

Rapidly-improving production and a growing list of unreleased music has caught the attention of artists such as J.Sparrow, Sumgii, N-Type, Joe Nice, LX ONE, Ternion Sound, Sicaria Sound, Neffa-T to name a few, with regular plays on respected stations such as Dekmantel’s podcast series, Ilian Tape, Rinse, SWU and Subtle, along with track support in locations such as Fabric (UK), Motion (UK), The Wire (UK), The Black Box (US), Boomtown (UK), Infrasound (US), Outlook (HR) and
more.

It is early days for the young producer, but the seeds have sown, and his momentum continues to build traction on a daily basis.

Jah-Tek presents, Idioteques remix of Ourman's 'Bad Things'. A growling interpretation of the original, with a wide scope of rich bass textures, rising and cascading throughout, cutting through the track's original eerie melodic blips and dark atmospherics. Apollo Navigation is a Drum & Bass artist based in Hemel Hempstead. Always having a keen interest in music from a young age, it wasn’t until 2016 that Apollo found a passion for the frenetic rhythms and low-end energy of Drum & Bass. Since then, he has been honing his craft as both a producer and a DJ, with a sound that is heavily inspired by the minimal yet heavyweight stylings of Producers such as Alix Perez, Amoss & Skeptical.
