Omni Music, in conjunction with Digibeat Music, presents Digitized part 2. A varied collection paying homage to classic Digibeat releases, along with a sprinkling of exclusive unreleased pieces. Both volumes are testament to the high quality of the net labels output, with some of the most exciting artists in the underground drum and bass scene making appearances. This second volume goes into generally darker rougher territory, showcasing the versatility of the label.

After a slight hiatus we're pleased to be back and extremely proud to present the latest addition to the Run Tingz Familia, Kursiva.

The Spanish producer has already been making waves in his home country and is sure to break further into the international scene over the next couple of years. The track features our trademark Reggae influences, some seriously heavyweight bass work and a fusion of English and Spanish vocals that highlight the talents of Jahba & Clasiko. The original mix, outstanding in it's own right, is complimented by a stripped down DnB remix from our very own Terrahawk (Bristol) which is perfect for the MC friendly DJ's amongst us.

As always we really appreciate everyone's feedback and support, we're about to enter our most active period since the beginning of 2013 which some of you will remember as fruitful to say the least. Run Tingz Recordings 010 is going under the knife as we speak and features the Serial Killaz and Run Tingz remix of the mighty Dreadlock (Future Prophecies / Breakbeat Kaos) so keep your eye peeled for that. We've also got Run Tingz Originals 2 & 3 in the pipe line, more tracks from our DopeTingz (Dope Ammo & Run Tingz) co-lab as well as some amazing work from J.Man, Frisk, Gold, Blackout J.A, Topcat and a number of other Run Tingz favourites.

Dia De Muertos. A dry flinty wind blows tumbleweeds along the dusty street like a pack of lazy dogs. The hangman rides his thirsty horse into the border town of La Calavera, as deserted as a cemetary in the afternoon heat. Everyone knows of the notorious gang of gundoleros known as the Chopstick Posse, and his fee will be large. He walks across to the inn. The Sheriff’s relief is obvious as he hands the silver and a bottle of local mezcal to the hangman. He reaches inside his shirt and pulls a leather pouch off his neck, extracting a heavy antique key on a brass chain, and leaves it on the table. Glancing once more at the hangman, he takes back the tequila and leaves quickly. The hangman shrugs, signals for another bottle, and rolls a cigarillo from his pouch of green mexican..
Hours later, after the blood-red glow of the setting sun has faded from the sky, the hangman turns the key in the darkness and pushes open the rusty door. He holsters his pistol, and his cockney accent filters through the haze. “you alright?”. Another English voice replies from the corner “We’re just about outta spliff mate” , continued by an American - “but not outta bullets”. The room chuckles. Seven of Mexico’s most wanted gundoleros, one crowded stucco cell, and a haze of dank smoke. The metallic clacking sound of guns loading fills the darkening room, as the glowing cigarillos are
crushed out one by one. “Shall we wake the Sheriff?”

Taken from Origin One's recent "Deeply Rooted" album, "Nice & Easy" is a bouncing and bubbling hip hop infused reggae banger, perfectly crafted for summer and soundsystems in fields. Bristol's rising star Gardna supplies the chat, whilst Congo Natty cohort Nanci Correia drops the silky smooth chorus atop the shuffling skanking riddim, complementing each other perfectly.

On remix duties comes Mr Benn who flips the beat for a stripped back throwback dancehall affair, giving nods to a 90s classic, whilst Numa Crew's T-Kay turns up the energy for a massive drum and bass monster for the ravers. Nice and Easy!

Founded in 2013, two south German DJs & producers Modul8 & Sickhead united their forces to bundle their love for Reggae & Dub into genres such as Dubstep, Jungle and DnB. Under the moniker Jahdubtahz they released several freebies and physical releases on labels such as 45Seven or Basscomesaveme. Reinforced by many DJ gigs in Southern Germany and across Europe (Austria, Greece, Czech Republic, Turkey & Italy) to bring their styles to a broader audience.
