Érintette a szórakoztatóipart, a pénzügyi szektort, a kritikus infrastruktúrát és a mindennapi kommunikációt.

Mivel a vállalatok harmadik féltől származó szolgáltatásokra és infrastruktúrára, például felhőszolgáltatókra és DNS-szolgáltatásokra támaszkodnak, a külső rendszerek problémái még a legfelkészültebb és legerősebb szervezetek számára is kieséseket okozhatnak.
