I live in a world of many 
My heartbeat seems so small 
Sometimes I feel invisible 
Not really here at all

The words you speak so freely 
Sometimes I do not know 
Confusion clouds my thinking 
And sadness fills my soul

I long to be accepted 
To walk along with you 
Please don't treat me differently 
Allow me to be true

I always felt so incomplete 
So broken deep inside 
My feelings I have sheltered 
So long they've had to hide
