Wrote this for after my sister asked me to make her an enchanted forest waltz for her Quinceañera(sweet 15 in Hispanic traditions). So I spent a few days dissecting some waltz music and ended up with a track that I believe expresses her quirkiness and the wonder of childhood.

Dance Of The Fairies

Soundtrack I created for the BW game jam on itch.io (https://itch.io/jam/bw-jam). Flashback was a puzzle game about a child stuck in a coma and attempting to recover their memories. Am I Alive and Shadows were mixed and mastered by Shannon Addonizio (https://www.shanaddzaudio.com/) who also created the sound effects for Flashback.

At the end of their journey, the hero must defeat the source of the dark power: a twisted incarnation of the seasonal spirits’ wrath that can use powers greater than the hero’s. If the hero is victorious, balance is restored to the land and the hero returns home to live the rest of their peaceful life.

Jaime Rivas is an indie game developer working on his first commercial release. He has contributed to over 20 projects through the HomeTeamGameDev group in which he served as a gameplay programmer, level designer, composer, and project leader. He was awarded the "Game Changer" in recognition of his dedication and passion towards game development. Prior to his time at HomeTeamGameDev, he enjoyed a military career that exposed him to foreign cultures which ignited his passion for learning. He holds certifications and licenses for CPR, EMT, Branch 3 Field Representative, and MTA Software Development Fundamentals.

Outside of his academic and professional goals, he can often be found deeply engaged in music composition. His favorite music genres include bossa nova, video game soundtracks, and hip hop. His top ten musical influences are: Nobuo Uematsu, Yasunori Mitsuda, Yuzo Koshiro, Yoko Shimomura, the Falcom Sound Team, David Bowie, Charlie Byrd, Antonio Carlos Jobim, The Beatles, and Nujabes. He is currently working towards a Bachelor's in Computer Science with a Minor in Music.
