in spring 2024, i restarted collecting music on bandcamp and pouring some of it into mixes with a pioneer ddj-flx4. not sure if i'd call it djing - it's more like making mixtapes for myself and share them with the world. it sure is a form of self-therapy, though.

i did some vinyl-djing with minimal techno/elektro/idm in the late '90s and early 2000s at events in germany and a bit of europe, then slowly moved on to other things in life. finally, i donated most of my old record collection to the local dj community, marking a fresh start for me. sometimes it's good to let go and make space for new things, i guess.

as a kid growing up in the countryside, i spent a lot of time close to nature, collecting stones, sticks or weeds. it feels like i do a similar thing with music today, at least it gives me the same joy. does that make sense?

Started DJing back in 1996. Ran a label from 2001 - 2008 and produced as Brian Aneurysm, Echopilot, and Confutatis during that time. After '08 I became a filmmaker. In 2018 I directed a film called RAVERS which got me back into producing.

Now I make whatever I want as B-Pushr. :)
