In his still young career, Alekz Rush has made quite an impression in the dance music world.  The Augsburg based DJ/Producer has already seen one of his singles rise to the number one spot on the US Dance charts, and has performed at numerous international clubs and festivals to increasingly enthusiastic crowds.  His dynamic style is as unique as he is, blending his hip hop upbringing with an encyclopedic knowledge of the dominant styles of the day.  Having accomplished so much at such a young age, there is no limit to what Alekz Rush may be able to achieve.  
 
Born Alexander Bauer, Alekz’s talent became apparent at a very early age.  He was ten years old when he discovered hip hop, obsessing over the production style of Dr. Dre.  He had an ear for hearing the little details that made these productions so special, a talent that would serve him well when he later began producing his own tracks.  Hip hop provided him with a glimpse into the outside world, and all the possibilities being a musician offered. His interest in hip hop quickly led to his discovery of dance music, as he became enthralled with the depth of talent and styles in the German underground.  Absorbing the wide array of different genres, he began taking in as much musical information as he could before deciding to become an artist in his own right.
 
Once Alekz decided to start producing his own tracks, it didn’t take long for him to find success.  His first single to reach the charts was ‘Let’s Go Anywhere,’ which skyrocketed to number one in the USA and was a viral hit on Tik Tok.  He followed that up with a remix of Hugel’s ‘WTF,’ which was shared countless times on Instagram, furthering his reputation as an emerging viral star.  Since then, his music has been a steady presence on the radio in his native Germany and gradually spreading its way around the world.
 
At only twenty five years old, Alekz is one of the most promising young talents in Germany’s thriving dance music scene.  Being at the center of such a major music hub has allowed him to grow quickly, accomplishing in a few short years what some people accomplish in their entire careers.  With a collection of innovative new tracks set for release in the coming years, Alekz Rush is just getting started.
