First up is Brooklyn producer Your Cousin Avi, who took an organic approach, creating “the feeling and atmosphere of a live band.” Avi’s remix captures the intimacy of a live show in a small venue; you can almost feel the bass in your body, almost hear the amps being plugged in before lush guitar chords pour out. On his remix, Your Cousin Avi brings a fresh and deeply soulful sound to a classic jam. “Flight 99 Remixes” is out on Oct 21st via The Hopes & Dreams Club, courtesy of Jakarta Records & 823.
