Jake Anthony (PR) - Enslavement

KP started his DJ mixing journey back home in Costa Rica, spending his time mixing with his older brothers. When KP moved to the United States, he knew it was time for a bigger stage and something new. KP has supported different groups of local DJs and producers in Orlando, playing at venues around the city. KP brought something new and unique to Magic Lamp Radio, with his sound being very Peak-Time Techno, reminding us of Enrico Sangiuliano. His kicks are hard-hitting, his claps are smooth, and the bass is nothing less than underground. KP can put any listener into a trance when he can express himself through Techno. 

We are excited to have KP be the first artist on Magic Lamp Radio featured outside of a volume release. We hope you enjoy his mix like we have, and we hope you get lost in the music.

Velocraxy is an Orlando-based DJ known for his hard grooves and heavy-hitting kicks. When asked why he started DJing, he said, "I wanted to understand the music I was listening to more deeply, and I want to share that understanding and experience with everyone." Velocraxy draws heavy inspiration from the UK and Western European scene. 
When his mix first starts, he's playing at a lower BPM than you'd imagine, but he knows how to keep the energy flowing and alive and takes the listener on a journey through music. With moments of Psy-trance and even groovier Techno, he is a mastermind behind the decks to keep the listener engaged and wanting more.

VIPER is an Uplifting Trance DJ/Producer based in FTL/MIA. Hailing from Upstate New York, and raised in the 2012-2014 golden era of Big Room and Melbourne Bounce. His passion for shuffling, muzzing, and all things Zyzz led him to the genre of Trance, where he discovered the classic 140bpm+ sounds of early 2000s Paul Van Dyk, Tiesto, Armin, System F, and NU NRG. Inspired by the euphoria and energy that Classic Trance pioneered, and dialed in with today's artists who're producing, performing, and elevating that very sound, VIPER consistently delivers a performance that showcases the full emotional range of Uplifting Trance, as far back as 1999.

Born in Syracuse, New York, and raised in Raleigh, North Carolina, Ballance's journey in music has been a passionate one, driven by his love for melodic EDM. After discovering the rave community at Bonnaroo in 2019 and attending his first festival in 2017, Ballance found his calling. Now based in Orlando, where he attends Full Sail University's Recording Arts program, he continues evolving as a producer and an artist.

With influences ranging from iconic acts like Illenium, Odesza, and San Holo, to the rising force of melodic techno artists such as Anyma and Chris Avantgarde, Ballance merges genres seamlessly, creating a sound that feels both high-energy and uplifting. His music reflects his journey and deep connection to the rave scene, which has welcomed him with open arms. Ballance’s mission is simple: to give back to the community that inspired him and to pass the torch of that special feeling to others.

On Magic Lamp Radio, Ballance brings an electrifying mix of Melodic Techno, blending diverse elements while keeping the energy alive and the vibes feel good. His sets are more than just a performance—they’re a journey designed to create lasting memories for all those in the crowd, just as his favorite artists did for him.

Florida has been on the minds of many over the past few weeks as the dust continues to settle from Miami Music Week and Ultra Music Festival, but there's been something else brewing North of that action in Orlando. That's where rising techno artist Jake Anthony resides, and he's been climbing the ranks of the scene over the past few years with his unique twist on the genre in tow.

While Jake Anthony might be one of the freshest faces in the Florida techno scene, having only released his debut single in 2023, he's quickly begun to turn heads. He's dropped off tunes on labels like SHADE, Humble House Records, and more since then. He's also picked up momentum on the performance front, playing festivals like Home Bass and Shipwrecked, as well as taking the stage at nightclubs like Gilt and The Ritz Ybor, among others.

Meet Jake Anthony, a Puerto Rican DJ & Producer based in Orlando, Florida!

With a musical journey starting at a young age, Jake found his true calling in EDM after attending his first event. Since starting his DJ journey in 2021, he's played across Florida, supported big names like Inigma, Matthias, &amp; Naomi Luna, and released multiple singles as a producer.

Jake identifies as 'techno-fluid', blending deep/hypnotic vibes with peak-time energy and hard techno. He also throws in trance and psytrance for good measure!
