Hot on the heels of last year's series of Hype-Machine blockbusting Club Clique remixes - including Lana Del Rey's Video Games (one million plays and counting) - this is our first track of 2013: a Club Clique remix of our favourite Cat Power track, given away for free download this week to coincide with the video release of her stunning song 'Manhattan'. 

We've kept the warm, dreamy spirit of the original track and dressed it up for a night on the town, giving it a blissed-out, early-summer-late-night dancefloor feel. The brand new 'Manhattan' video itself received more than half a million views in less than a week, and we've also done our own remix of the *actual video clip*. 

This remix is inspired, in part, by the time LCD Soundsystem came along unannounced after the last date of their final UK tour, to DJ our clubnight, playing the most obscure and incredible electronic disco tracks we'd ever heard. This remix is our love letter from one city - Manchester - to another - New York.
