Kirk Paxman, a talented DJ and producer hailing from Leeds, UK, has always been deeply inspired by the vibrant techno scene. His journey into the world of DJing began in 1999, shortly after experiencing the magic of The Orbit for the first time. Surrounded by influential artists like Ben Sims, Surgeon, and Adam Beyer, Kirk felt an undeniable calling to join the turntables and share his unique musical perspective.

In the early days of his career, Kirk showcased his skills at intimate house parties and after parties, gradually building a reputation for his skills as a DJ. It wasn't long before earning the opportunity to play alongside renowned DJ’s such as Paul Damage (HOG) and Space DJz at Throb in Wakefield. This experience further fueled Kirk's passion for techno and solidified his dedication to the craft.

After a brief hiatus for personal reasons, Kirk's love for techno drew him back into the scene. Embracing the digital age, he expanded his musical arsenal by investing in a DJ controller. This leap into the world of digital DJing opened up new possibilities for Kirk, allowing him to push the boundaries of his creativity and expression.

With his skills honed and his passion reignited, Kirk has not only excelled as a DJ but also embarked on a personal quest to create his own techno music. Teaming up with a group of close friends, he co-founded Drama Recordings, a forward-thinking label that made its debut in June 2023. Continuing to push his artistic boundaries, Kirk has recently caught the attention of Player Records, the very label that originated in The Orbit. His 4-track EP is a testament to his growth and evolution as an artist, blending his unique style with the rich heritage of the techno genre.

With a relentless drive to explore new sonic territories and a commitment to delivering unforgettable experiences to his audience, Kirk Paxman is undoubtedly an artist to watch in the ever-evolving world of electronic music.
