Sadly the recordings of this didn't save and this was redone digitally, it is also missing both the clangy mixes and Si The Sigh's MC'ing on the night, however was such a good vibe I couldn't resist redoing the set again from last weekend in Bournemouth for Timewarp.

I have given Jake some instructions on undeleting temp files on his computer, so if he manages to salvage the original recording/it turns up I'll gladly upload the orig too. 

Once the initial anxieties of skipping vinyl, missing cue points and being on your toes a hell of a lot more were out of the way, it was very fun to play.  

Went right back to my roots with some faster trance (in its broadest sense) I grew up mixing and some other bits I recently found name of, and couldn't resist dropping of my own a couple tunes on vinyl.

Big shout to all who made it down on the night, was lovely to see you all!

This recording is the 90 minute set from Timewarp resident and South Coast legend Steve Hamlet. From the moment Steve dropped his first track he had the full attention of the crowd who were more than willing passengers on his trip through all things Trance. This really is a top set showcasing Steve’s skills and broad appreciation of the genre.

Making his Timewarp debut, Futurekix delivered a set full of drive, atmosphere and standout moments from start to finish. A well-crafted Hard Trance mix with tight flow and serious track choice. One that clearly struck a chord with the crowd.

Are you ready for a trip down memory lane as we relive one of the UK's longest running dance nights. This event will be the first in a series of classics nights across the UK & abroad throughout 2016 as we celebrate a landmark 25 years of Wigan Pier
To kickstart our BACK 2 THE OLD PIER tour we will be returning home to WIGAN, taking over PURE NIGHTCLUB (a converted three story ex cinema complete with balconies) & we will be adding our very own organ shaking sound system, light rig & entertainers
Expect anthem after anthem as we go back in time & bring you a night to remember with the DJs that turned a club into a musical style
