Planes and passing cars, just me and my guitar,
picks and strings they're silly things, but they can get you pretty far.
No need to understand, no need for master plans,
melodies and catchy beats and we will dance in this wasteland.

Sky washed out by the ambient light, a colony of sleep walkers roam the night.
Fluorescent shepherd of the flock, heedlessly fighting against the clock.
A tragedy stuck on a boring page, waiting for someone to shake the cage.
Desperate for a second chance, running from their circumstance.

Irie eyes under fiery skies, arise!
A riot, comprised of penny lies, a roll of the die.
And I'm tryin', a sly find, I'm likely hidin.
Prioritize, de-hypnotize de-synthesize.
Our existence, cars and pistons, mass resistance,
cannabis, no abstinence, absinthe plus the phat synth.
Binge drink to fringes with used syringes we can win
with big riches so we can kiss with the fine mistress.
But kiss the last kisses in a spoon full of lost wishes,
a vicious envisioning, but the kids are not listening.
Rips are not rippling and it fits in the imagery,
we're losing our energy just aiming for symmetry.

Try to find the source, everything must run its course,
and I could wait for better days, but what if I'm left with remorse?
Well we're just passing through, time doesn't move, we do.
Wandering and wondering 'til life seems like a silly thing.
