This track is special for 3 reasons. 

1 - is going to be featured in my upcoming EP "Bubble Tea Economy", soon to be released in the month of May 
2 - is a collaboration with the ever great @android-apartment, that delivered some sweet bass and additional goodness for this joint
3 - features my lovely fianceé @starstorm on the artwork because I always said this picture would have been perfect for this kind of use ^_^ 

A pretty chill yet feelsy tune, result of the collaboration for the very first time ever of two chill dudes that happen to live in the very same nation... way cool huh? 
In the end, is just like the title says: nobody is never alone.

Video features the finale [show] for Intel's i360° Keynote (in Anaheim, CA, on February 1st, 2016), for which I wrote the music ("Curie I").

In the video, performer Yago de Quay is featured using RealSense cameras and Curie-enabled wristbands that track hand gestures and location and use that data to control music and visuals. A project that took 3 months of working with Intel to develop unique wristbands, gesture algorithms, radio transmission, music, visuals and dance. At CES 2016, audience members were invited to use their Curie wristbands to contribute musically to the performance.

"Chip off the Old Block" is a collection of musical rarities and previously unreleased material, all of which written in the last decade or so (2007-2017). Most — but not all — of the music was composed for various failed video game projects. Rather than let these tracks collect [proverbial] dust on my hard drive, I decided to release everything in a more digestible form. (Additionally, the album allows me a chance to tidy up my SoundCloud account.) I *did* clean up a few of the tracks (by applying some light audio polish), but most are largely untouched. Although, admittedly, not every track is a winner (you’ll surely hear some "growing pains" in this particular collection of music), I *do* see the value in archiving as much music as possible — even if there are a few "warts" in the bunch. 

Ultimately, "Chip off the Old Block" presents the listener with an opportunity to examine my growth as a composer over the span of a decade. I sincerely hope you can find — *at the very least* — a little enjoyment out of this album, as a lot of these tracks are close to my heart still. Thank you for your support and, of course, for listening.
