My Productions

On February 15, 2012, an establishment started with the quirky name HOUSE IS LIKE LAVA, renamed A Sonic Diary, and then again to its final name LAVA AVENUE, but then again back to HOUSE IS LIKE LAVA. It also was the humble beginning of understanding music that landed the author Cathrine Deaton Heibø in New York, Berlin, London, Paris, Stockholm, and Copenhagen. It conjured a TOP DJ list in the DJ realm in Norway. Promotion HOUSE IS LIKE LAVA author has done is DIMENSIONS Festival that had a line up that esteemed DJMAG, Resident Advisor, and MIXMAG have boasted. Generics in music that the author is writing about are techno and house music. The Author has also been working with human rights causes such as Free Britney Spears, Free Amanda Bynes, Free Kesha, and Free Nichelle Nichols. The author has also volunteered at festivals such as DISTORTION Copenhagen, ØyaFestivalen, and Soul Sessions Extended (a street dance festival in Oslo, Norway). The author will continue to preserve club culture development.

Based in London town and with a serious history in everything dance music, you’d be hard pushed to find someone more passionate about electronic sounds than Jake Cusack. With an involvement in the scene lasting over two and half decades, he has built inimitable experience and know-how that he continues to grow and learn from. From the humble days of DJing at the age of 14, to cutting dub plates in the music house on the Holloway Road to play in his evening sets, he has experienced the underground side of dance music and watched it flourish into the huge industry we know and love today.

Specialising in a unique brand of Deep and Tech House, Cusack’s sounds have garnered him support from all corners of the genre’s fan base. Originally from Wales, but living in London for twenty plus years, he moved to become closer to the sounds that he adored, finding himself releases and shows all over the world, connecting with 12inch Thumpers and Fresh DJ Agency he found himself playing at legendary shows such as Sundissentail & God Kitchen, and playing to crowds from Kings Cross to Caesars Palace in Las Vegas. Influenced by artists such as Tony De Vit and Tall Paul, his releases were unleashed to critical acclaim.

I’m a 20-year-old Christian mashup artist, making mashups for fun. I mashup up Christian Rap, Christian Dubstep, CEDM, sometimes even Christian Contemporary music.

I also enjoy listening to all kinds of music; I'll follow as many non-CCM Christian artists as I can to find new, interesting and awesome sounds. I repost things I like.

After being involved in the rave/club scene in 99-2002 my love for EDM grew more and more after every show and i always wanted to dj but my love for drugs was more important but Praise GOD in 2002 i turned my life over to the lord and he opened doors and lead me to become a DJ so i saved the money i was spending on drugs and put it toward dj gear  Been mixing it up since 2003, taught myself the fundamentals due to no dj friends or high demand dj videos like they are now. Learned on tables then to cds and now digital. Musical influence came from my club/rave experiences in 1999-2003, when trance music was on top. Dj's that influenced my style are : Dj keoki, dj Baby anne, Dj Micro, Dj Icey, and many others. Spinning  trance and some Christian Hip hop for youth groups and events around my town speading the love of God thru my music..i took a break for a bit and then some yrs  later i regrouped got some new gear and stepped up my game and transitioned into House music and other genre of EDM (Electronic dance music) i can successfully mix Drum and Bass, Dubstep, House, Electro House, Breakbeat, and much more. Love to play out for a crowd and keep the dancefloor packed out and grooving to the BEAT.
