Ghosts was recorded live with minimal overdubs in late February 2025 at Test Tube Audio in Austin, TX.

Kevin Butler (Black Books, Reddening West) engineered and produced all five songs on Ghosts.

The award-winning artist Billie Buck (Austin Chronicle) designed the album artwork based on the concept behind the songs: an inability to escape the past or make sense of the present.

Aaron Winston (vocals, guitar) trades call-and-response with Dylan Hill’s (Mamalarkey) hazy leads, anchored by Justin Winslow’s melodic bass and Wes Armstrong’s (Half Dream) brush-kit groove.

After playing together since 2021, the quartet has developed a unique sound that’s grounded in imagistic lyrics and gritty guitars.

I grew up in South Carolina in my family of musicians and now live in Nashville.

I love good stories. I couldn't take a nap during the day if I tried. I think it's best when driving back home to drive all night. Every now and again I can't sleep until I write down and sing to what's keeping me awake. These are those thoughts and stories. I hope very much that you like them.
