I wrote this track about not wanting to lose someone. 
Not physical loss but someone who’s going through a tough time and switches off; not able to talk any more.  
The line ‘I will sit with you in the dark’ refers to listening to someone and trying to understand their feelings. It’s about people who can’t be present.
