The trombone serves as the featured solo instrument, leading the melody throughout the piece while the orchestra provides energetic accompaniment. This arrangement was created for a family friend who played trombone as a way to encourage him to keep playing and enjoying the instrument.

“Esta obra está inspirada en las migraciones involuntarias. En los viajeros que añoran su regreso a casa. Primero pensé en la vida de los intérpretes latinoamericanos, que de alguna manera se ven obligados a salir al extranjero y asimilar su oficio a través de tocar en tantos ensambles les sea posible, para quizás algún día volver a casa y enseñar lo aprendido. Esta “migración académica” un tanto involuntaria, juega un papel importante para un músico, pues salir de nuestro país nos legitima por obtener un reconocimiento de una institución sobre todo si es occidental. La historia de Alex y la de tantos intérpretes, llegan a vivir constantemente viajando para seguir aprendiendo.

Pero después pensé en todas las personas que se ven forzadas a salir de sus países por motivos de guerra o por falta de oportunidades, incluso más a aquellas personas que son despojadas de sus vidas para ser traficadas como objetos. Esta es una obra que rinde homenaje a todas esas personas que viven en un viaje interminable.

Así pues, decidí escribir una obra que narra musicalmente la historia de un viajero (en este caso el trombón) y su regreso a casa.”

Game Over - Defeat (Medieval Fantasy Stinger)

Hello everyone! I'm a hobbiest musician, composer, arranger, conductor. I've been playing the piano since I was seven, and have picked up several other instruments along the way. Through life I've been hesitant to let others hear my work, but due to recent feedback from others it seems that people like what I do, thus I'm sharing with a broader audience. Please let me know what you think! I hope you enjoy everything you hear.
Typically I compose and arrange for full, large orchestras of 80 pieces or so. However, there are a few smaller ensemble pieces that I have done for chamber groups to sell in online marketplaces. Growing up as a Christian I have noticed a huge hole in music for large orchestral arrangements of Christian/Gospel music, and I've dedicated a lot of time of the years making large orchestral arrangements of this religious music. In addition to the religious music you will find a lot of Disney arrangements, some for orchestra, some for chamber groups, and even a few for marching band. When I was in high school, there was such a lack of Disney music available for marching band, so I've set out to fill that hole.
Since I just launched this sound cloud account, I will be working to add more completed tracks as soon as I can.
