The song tells the story of a family man with a twisted mind. The lyrics are written in a retro perspective, and starts with this man sitting in a cell in a mental institution. Throughout the song we get to know why. The song's atmosphere starts off as calm and diffuse, but evolves and gets more defined as the story reveals itself to the listener.
