Mikael and Severi have both had a passion for music since they were young. Mikael starting off by playing the piano/synth, and Severi hammering the drums. As many in their time, they had a metal head phase, playing in various metal bands, loving the heavy vibes of distorted guitar sounds and pounding double pedal drums. As time went by, the rough and gritty metal sounds started to fade away, and in came an interest towards melodic and beat filled electronic dance music. 

It was Mikael who first started making tracklists on winamp for college parties, which evolved to mixtapes on soundcloud, and further to DJ gigs at clubs. When Severi heard the mixtapes Mikael had made, he also got inspired into trying DJing. Mikael sold his very first DJ controller to Severi, and so started the journey of Dystonal. They started playing DJ gigs together, supporting tours passing by their hometown for names such as Super8&Tab, Heavyweight DJs, Tom Fall etc, and always had a blast! They always give their everything to their shows, especially Severi who is like a little energizer bunny! 

One day however, they decided that they want to create music of their own. They took the time to learn the world of music production, and now they have been releasing remixes, and soon will be revealing their personal productions! Time will show what this duo can achieve, be it something small or something great, they will keep doing it because of their love for music!
