I’m pondering on a scenario in which I am the hero

I’m walking past a house on Nether Street 
When all of a sudden the whole of the second floor goes up in flames 
Little tommy’s on his own today 
And no one else can hear his calls 
By some twist of fate his door’s blocked 
But from somewhere I summon the strength of a god 
Even lose a little blood 
As we’re diving from the hall 
The house begins to fall 

I’m pondering on a scenario in which I am the hero 
It’s something I am prone to

And somehow I ride to the rescue 
I’m on a late night bus from angel 
And three big drunken guys start picking on a girl 
While mere mortals stare at freesheets 
I’m rising to my feet as I command them to cease 
Now I’ve had no formal training 
But my arms and legs let fly with all the precision of Jackie Chan or Bruce Lee 
Now wouldn’t that be a sight to see? 
And as they stumble out the doors I’m taking the applause
