Hi, I'm Chaz Kangas. I'm a Minneapolis-born MC who has been living in New York for seven years now and just released a free album named 'A Personal Reference' that features Mac Lethal, Alaska of Hangar 18 and Homeboy Sandman. The album was entirely produced by Good Goose of Menya ("D.T.F." from MTV's 'Jersey Shore') and I'm very proud of it. But that's the album, this right here is a description of me.

In short, I'm a pop-culture obsessed walking Wikipedia. My music reflects that. I'm also the co-holder of a world record, the host of CBGB’s final Hip-Hop show, a celebrated battle champion, the Virgin Megastore’s last in-store performer, and someone who’s been critically acclaimed by The New York Times, NPR, The LAist, the Minneapolis Star Tribune and The Times of India.
