The first full artist EP on OOM Records comes from Italy based Alarico.
Raw Cuts contains four tracks that breath the sound of the late 90's. Cut 1 starts off in full pace with a rolling sequenced bass topped with hefty beats and haunting movements. Second track Cut 2 continuous the fast paced character, but this time with some smart layered Pizzicato strings and some haunting voice effects to complete it all. Cut 3 offers a filtered sequenced bass that opens up from time to time, again with hefty beats and subtle pads. Closing track Cut 4 is based on a shimmy fast groove topped with 909 beats, some continuous shakers and atmospheric elements. An absolute fire debut by Alarico.

Panoramic art zealots, Adroit Recordings are a Zurich based collective who work to champion creativity in all conceivable forms. So far - Adroit has provided a platform for myriad artists to express their take on Techno via a slew of podcasts, VA releases and EPs from the likes of
Saime, Marco Bruno and Drhamer.

Having released a series of VAs under the sub-title of 'Archive' - Adroit ready the next instalment in the series: the 2nd chapter in the 3rd Archive collection. This is a bolstered pack of 8 floor-focused Techno tracks that burst out of the blocks at a pace synonymous with Adroit's output. Artists included are Greek aficionado ANNE, Lyric, Brazilian artist KaioBarssalos, Matthieu Benjamin, Gean, Maltese master Antidote MT, Hanubis and Dan Whyte.

ANNE kicks things off with 'Misgiving'; a rigid, hypnotising banger that widens pupils and maintains tension throughout before Lyric ups the tempo with the aptly titled 'Motion'. A warped sequence is
set tumbling over a pacy 4/4 as additive percussion creeps into the mix in a manner that proves the power of simplicity.

KaioBarssalos is next up with 'Exposure'; a thick, sturdy groove underpinned by a portly kick and mesmerising synth flickers. Swiss artist Matthieu Benjamin then follows up with 'Tension'; a track
that does exactly what it says on the tin in generating a powerful sense of suspense through a filtered, metallic riff and nifty hat shuffles.
Gean then weighs in with 4492; a clear, crisp track that drives a rolling synth line through steady percussion and trippy vocal cuts. Antidote MT is next in line with his track 'Space Dimensions'.
Deftly crafted sonics pan across the mix while a persistent thud keeps attention pinned on the dance floor. Filters, capacious reverbs and bent melodies direct the listener in an intergalactic direction before
Hanubis pins down a stocky floor-filler. 'Kujo' sets a bit-crushed melody twisting over a dense underbelly before Dan Whyte brings the collection to a close.
Neatly arranged percussion is set swiping over a powerful kick while mangled melodies and vocals bleed through bringing Archive 3 Part Two to a head bending conclusion.

To shape modern-day sound while paying homage to the old days. An ethos that has always been at the core of Frenzy as a community, event organizer, and record label. Through this second VA release, Frenzy seeks to extend its exploration of the ‘now’ and the ‘then’ with a double vinyl release with no less than 12 tracks representing their trademark sound. Buckle up - it’s time to step into the time machine of speed and light.

The vibey A-side starts with a bang by the dynamic Swiss/Italian duo Funk Assault (Chlär & Alarico) followed by uplifting, lighthearted productions by Amsterdam’s finest Undivulged and Lobster. On the B-side, local talent Levzon kicks it off with a playful melody-led groover, while Nicolas Vogler gets into the rhythmic drums and Ruiz OSC1 delivers an aquatic dub workout.

Heavyweight TWR72 introduces the C-side in full effect with a hypnotic, driving tension builder, followed by a wonky looped-out production by Hemka. Insolate is the perfect final addition to this side with a steady minimalist puncher for the in-between energy shifts. The D-side takes off at stellar speed with Cravo, raising the peak hour pressure. Jannik Abfalg channels the energy to more bright scenery as ANNĒ completes the record in style with a vocal-induced trip through early morning dancefloor freshness.

To go full circle, the release is accompanied by four digital-only bonus tracks by none other than Antic Soul, Edvvin, JSPRV35, and Hyden. Productions balance in-between stripped-down rhythms and heavy-duty rollers, showcasing what Frenzy is all about. The full digital album comes for free with the purchase of the vinyl release.
