'She Watches Through the Mirror' is a piano trio written for Trio Mazzolini.

She Watches Through the Mirror - Crystalla - Performed by Trio Mazzolini

Piece for Solo Clarinet in Bb - written for and performed by the amazing Poppy Beddoe. 
She premiered it on the 16 June 23 at Clifton International Music Festival in Bristol and recorded it at St Pancras Clocktower (with many thanks to Mr. Peter Tompkins for his generosity and patience.

Cryogenesis

A blank page with notes explores the Japanese concept of ma, where the space between objects is as significant as the objects themselves. The performer has been presented with a score that shows gestures separated by blank space between them. This space is used to signify the relative space between these gestures, allowing the performer to move between these moments of movement guided by how long they feel each space is in the moment. These moments of pause are also guided by the performance space, with the natural sounds of the environment helping the performer decide when to move out of silence.

Most of these moments of movement within the piece involve allowing the sound of the guitar to decay into silence, taking advantage of the natural shape of the guitar’s sound and letting the listener feel the music blending into the environment that the performance takes part in.

This piece was composed for and is dedicated to Marisa Sardo.

Two Hemispheres... moonlanding (for solo violin) | Composed by Ruth Lee | Played by Tilly Langford as part of The Arc Project at York Unitarian Chapel, 19th October 2019. Recorded by Lynette Quek. 
Written to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the 1969 moon landing, a solo violinist interacts with extracts from archival recordings. Exploring the voice famously heard by 600 million people, the piece explores the musicality of the human voice in relation to silence and space travel. Melodies and rhythms of familiar and unfamiliar words are passed between the voice and violin over a background of broadcasting static, chaos and silence.
