I can already tell that I'm going to listen to this over and over again.. WONDERFUL gypsy sound you have going on.. 

I think this is a vey strong piece! I really like the mixture of energy - stasis - energy. Simple really - but it works. And as for the mix of styles; everything from late Romantic richness to modernist/post-modernist touches - not to mention jazz. And yet, everything is so well integrated. I particularly like the climactic last (energy) section where the piano plays counter rhythmic chords against the texture. Bartok, 2nd Mov. Music for strings, percussion etc. - similar effect - yours works just as well. Fantastic Jake!

I think this small section of music here might be the best bit of music I've ever written.
