Can you explain a bit about yourself?

I've been making music since 2006 through several different aliases throughout the years.
I've felt comfortable enough with my production as KNARD to finally put out my legacy of sound. I've released a 2 EPs and 1 Album over the last few years, and I don't plan on stopping.

Can you explain a bit about the track?

I've always been a hardcore kid at heart, and it's been a long time since I tried my hand at making a track in the genre. My source of inspiration was when I once saw Headhunterz LIVE when his track with Brennan Heart "MF Point of Perfection" came out, and I remember going nuts when I heard it for the first time on a big system. That same year I had also caught Angerfist during their first US tour and it was one of the sickest shows I had been to.

I just ran with it, I wanted to have something explosive in my arsenal of tracks that would crush dance floors. I never would have thought I'd go as hard in this track, it honestly just came together and every time I worked on it, I was excited to push it to the finish line. I'm really happy with how it turned out.

"Step Up" is an homage to that inner hardcore kid in me that just wants to hear big noise and pump my fist!
