I DIDN'T ADD ANY DRUMS OR CHANGE THE TEMPO I SIMPLY PICKED OUT MY FAVORITE SEGMENTS OF THE ORIGINAL RECORDS AND LOOPED THEM TOGETHER... I FEEL LIKE THIS TAPE IS IMPORTANT TO HIPHOP BECAUSE IT EDUCATES LISTENERS ON THE MUSIC THAT ACTUALLY GAVE BIRTH TO SOME OF OUR FAVORITE HIPHOP RECORDS

Vancouver Island is her home and music is everywhere. Island sounds subtly seep into the consciousness – from seagulls on the shore to warm bass textures pumping from the club. British Columbia's West Coast bass sound also plays large in Bliss Rider’s style.
As a long time supporter and participant in Nanaimo indie media, Bliss Rider has produced, hosted, and delivered her own radio programs ranging from talk to any musical flavour you like. This unfettered access to music and those that deliver it to the airwaves is the final piece in the musical puzzle that is Bliss Rider.
