Pancake 023 - Jakob Mäder

Greta — a musician and DJ born in Lithuania and raised in the UK, recently returned to live in Lithuania. After earning her bachelor’s degree in songwriting abroad and spending time immersed in folk music, the academic discovered the beauty of electronic sound. Her inspirations include James Blake, Four Tet, Burial, Floating Points, and Jon Hopkins.

Her latest mix (full version on SoundCloud) was recorded for Lizdas Academy with the energy of a party’s beginning in mind — when everything is just starting, people step onto the dance floor, and anticipation slowly rises. She’ll be taking her exam this Saturday — don’t be shy, come show your support.

Miro is a Stuttgart-based artist who has been shaping the local house music scene for several years. Known for his multifaceted DJ sets, he blends genres with ease, drawing on 90s-influenced house, techno, and beyond.

Since 2024, his event series has held a residency at the renowned venue Fridas Pier, bringing carefully curated bookings such as Cromby, Tijana T, Alex Kassian, and many more to Stuttgart.

As a DJ, light and video artist, and promoter, Miro continually expands his creative perspective. He connects art with the club scene, engages deeply with the local cultural community, and aims to reach people with more than just his music. True to his motto: Those who know how to move themselves can easily move others as well.

Anjawah moved to Berlin in 2018, after spending over a decade in the New York club scene. From her beloved, formative nights at Sullivan Room, followed by afters at Greenhouse (formally The Shelter) or underground warehouse parties, New York City has been at the root of Anjawah’s love for house and electronic music. As well, frequent trips to Chicago, Detroit and Europe over the years bred her musical taste, which is eclectic and dance floor focused. She brings a diverse range to her upbeat DJ sets by mixing classic and deep house with acid and progressive sounds. Now, Anjawah is steadily recording guest mixes and her own "4th Floor Sessions", and she has played in various Berlin clubs including Paloma, Renate and Sisyphos.

"This mix was recorded live in Berlin on the opening night of Kater’s “Geburtstag” weekend. I was thrilled to be part of the club’s multi-day birthday celebration, and I wanted to kick it off with euphoric and uplifting energy. With deep grooves and vocal-driven highs, the journey moves between classic 90s house and contemporary, prog-infused rhythms. It was a truly memorable night and an incredible weekend at Kater. I’m excited to share the recording and relive the dance floor moments here! Thanks to XOXA for the invitation."

Jakob Mäder is a Stuttgart based DJ and producer who also performs live. His musical interest spans across different genres: ambient, disco, house, acid, and sometimes even techno inspired music.

Together with his crew Midnight Service he organises events with artists such as Johannes Albert, Philipp Schultheis or Panthera Krause, just to name a few. 

Ranging from reduced ambient to classic house inspired deep house or experimental breakbeat productions, his output as a producer reflects his eclectic taste as a DJ. Besides crafting his very own tracks, cheerful disco tracks result from his artistic work every now and then. 

He started his own label Constant Change in 2021.
