Every person has moments of disillusion in their life. Maybe they idolize someone that ends up being a bad person, or even go on a vacation that they thought was going to be amazing but isn't. Any event that causes us to re-evaluate our reality and change our perspective can be a moment of disillusion. It is only through these moments of darkness that we can change who we are to create a better life for ourselves and those around us. I want to welcome my fellow astronauts, good souls of this earth that are here to explore the deeper meanings of life, to embrace each moment of disillusion, and look for the lesson to be learned within. love and light - Arja

Defunk - Blast Off

To me the song Born of a Broken Man by Rage Against the Machine ￼is about the collective ancestral trauma of colonialism that has conditioned us into a life we never chose and a society that normalizes greed and destruction. The cycle of abuse continues and we collectively suffer no matter what role is played. But none of that defines us, it’s our generation and even though we are born into these bonds it is our choice to continue down that road or pave our own path forward to break the cycle 🔄 Born of a Broken Man but not a broken man, born of a broken man, never a broken man! These lyrics bring tears to my eyes of grief from the collective pain, primal rage against the oppressive forces and liberation of passionate hope. 
Rage Against the Machine self titled was the first full album I owned and Evil Empire was the first album 💿 I ever payed for. They have been one of my favorite bands since I was 8 years old and it’s an honor to remix one of my favorite songs of all time

Jalaya, born Jalaya Ocean Frisella Kunst, an innovator of Freeform Bass, emerges as a dynamic force within the Bass Music landscape, infusing darkness into gritty basslines that captivate listeners. With a distinctive percussion style cutting through glitchy distortion, Jalaya orchestrates a sonic journey that bends and contorts reality. His mission is to rekindle our primal connection to spirit, illuminating the shadows to awaken our freq of nature.

Raised amidst the rugged terrain of the Tetons in Idaho and Wyoming, Jalaya's musical journey began over two decades ago as a multi-genre drummer. After leaving his mark on California's Bay Area for the better part of a decade, he now calls Denver, Colorado, home, refining his unique blend of West Coast Bass.

Jalaya's rapid ascend includes notable releases on esteemed labels such as Bassrush, Subcarbon, Saturate, Morflo, and Sleeveless Records. His debut EP, 'The Cobra,' soared to number two on Beatport's dubstep charts in 2020, garnering support from industry luminaries like Nghtmre, Slander, Liquid Stranger, LSDream Stylust, and DMVU.

A masterful fusion of live instrumentation and electronic elements defines Jalaya's stage presence, drawing on nearly two decades of drumming experience to deliver unforgettable performances. His presence has graced renowned festivals including Wobbleland, Lightning in a Bottle, The Untz Festival, Emissions, Toxic Summer, Camp Questionmark, Stilldream, and Santa Cruz Music Festival.

In 2019, Jalaya embarked on a new venture, launching LoFreq, a tastemaker record label and event company. With six groundbreaking compilations and numerous EPs under its belt, LoFreq has become a beacon for over 100 innovators in the bass music scene worldwide. Jalaya's visionary leadership has led to takeovers at prominent festivals such as The Untz Festival and Toxic Summer, solidifying his status as a trailblazer in the genre.

As the night falls and darkness envelopes the sky, Jalaya beckons the frequencies to emerge, crafting an immersive sonic experience that transcends boundaries and leaves an indelible mark on all who encounter it.
