Canadian Producer/DJ "Ina Matrex" began turntable mixing in the summer of 2004 but was exposed to Djing at a much younger age through a family Dj business. At the age of twelve he was already switching cd trays and setting up speakers. As his love for mixing and music grew Ina began hosting raves/events and performing while still in high school.
 
Ina Matrex is a 28 year old canadian dj/producer from the Niagara Region. Ina is an experienced veteran of sound with over a decade of dance floor experience,  having  shared the stage with some of the top global electronic artists in the game today such as - Vini Vici / Sesto Sento,1200 Micrograms, Digicult, Biogenesis Vibrapshere Logic Bomb, Perfect stranger, Egorythmia + more

Ina Matrex is armed with a heavy array of self honed skills and mix tricks, professional dj training combined with years of dance floor experience, world class up to date electronic gems, his own custom samples, personal tracks, clean hard hitting dj mixes/ live mashups and an "on fire" Live performance  at an atomic energy level that just can't be ignored!

Ina Matrex has a reputation to be able to mix and spin any style he chooses skillfully. It doesn't matter whether it's on turntables/vinyl or a digital set up Ina Matrex has you covered! With his funky in your face mix style, hardcore stage presence, clean transitions and crisp pumping rhythms It does't take Ina Matrex long to get his head banging and the dance floor bouncing!



Ina Matrex was exposed to electronic music at a young age through video games, enjoying the 8 bit melodies of his favorite games, he absorbed exposure to djing his family Dj business.At the age of ten wen he was switching cd trays and setting up speakers. at the age of fifteen Ina began his adventure delving deep into electronic music.

Going to all ages after hours raves and three day festivals at the age of sixteen he began hosting parties and mixing on turntables, performing with rave legends like Mike Conradi, Marty McFly, Lady Bass, Elixir, Capital J + more before the age of twenty

A burning love for music within his heart and soul along with the desire and calling to help expand consciousness and creativity worldwide drives him to push the limits each and every day and much of Ina's time and energy is spent on his creative endeavors , exploring, learning new skills, creating connections, absorbing information,and gaining life experiences so he may use all this to create something unique and bring to people the best personal musical performance possible!

Ina is an active member of the global bass music crew "Bass Kitchen Worldwide" which has Matrex collaborating and planning with international artists a crossed the globe!

Monation’s journey has always been one of resilience, transformation, and devotion to the healing power of music. After years of pushing through devastating injuries, mastering world percussion, and exploring deep psychedelic and shamanic soundscapes, fate had other plans. In June 2024, a traumatic incident robbed him of his mobility, forcing him to step away from DJing and fully dedicate himself to Monation’s Healing Intention Foundation—a mission to make music, accessibility, and healing available to those in need.

But music had one more transformation in store…

From the ashes of Monation, DJ Turmeric Root was born. 🐦‍🔥 If not for the profound healing powers of music, none of this would have been possible. DJ Turmeric Root is more than a name—it is a testament to music’s ability to heal, transform, and revive the spirit. A fusion of deep psychedelic world sounds, shamanic tribal rhythms, and ancient healing frequencies, DJ Turmeric Root is a sonic journey dedicated to those seeking movement, release, and transcendence through sound.

This rebirth is a reminder: when the body is broken, the soul finds a new way to dance. 💪

within the past 8 years Monation had been opening up his voice more with an intention to share the sacred teachings from the rainbow reality way of life, and to channel divine cosmic verbalizations which flow through this situation..the rainbow reality along with connection to the higher self through music when physical connection to body felt not comfortable or too painful the voice is the divine healer to be able to heal pain through sonic frequencies which has forever transformed Monation into a cosmic being of love and light here to unite shinning so bright, bringing music to unite. 

With full heart and devotion to music Monation’s artistic expression is channelling the inner divinity and divine cosmic extraterrestrial light! 


Monation’s Dedication into studying with Many generes of percussion world music with an intention to bring it all together to create a unique sound that resonates to all people and beyond.

Monation’s dedication to the DJing Arts began as early as early as 2009 and took many turns and progressions to get to where it @ now..a Deep love for spinning and performing Psychedelic World Fusion Music, Psychedelic Sound Healing music, Deep Shamanic Tribal Percussions, Deep Psychedelic Eastern House Music, Deep & Tech House Music. 


Monation's most recent injuries really changed things in ways he could never have imagined, he has gone through pains that are unspeakable about but through it all he always finds his power and healing through music. He lost his sense of mobility in a horrible traumatic incident in June of 2024 and he has been on a mission to heal himself in ways only Music can understand. and he has been using music as a tool for expression and healing his most intense physical debilitating pains with the healing powers of Music therapy and connecting to his own inner source sound healer in ways of using music to heal pain and keep going in ways not possible otherwise. He is now dedicated to spreading awareness about the powerful healing potentials of music therapy and sound healing on people who are experiencing debilitating physical pain and his goal is to help others find different ways of managing their pains and Healing 🙏
