Canvas is a writing partnership comprising of Craig Kemp and Lil Friedmann. Based in Melbourne, the duo focus predominately on composing for film and visual media.

The duo began collaboration after realizing the potential sound that could be achieved by combining their unique writing styles. With their respective classical and contemporary musical backgrounds, Kemp and Friedmann found common ground in their passion for orchestral music and film scores.


noti. is the electronic project of producer/composer Craig Kemp and drummer turned singer Rick Berry. Both songwriters believe noti’s songs are a vessel for telling stories that are sonically rich and lyrically engaging. The band has drawn comparisons to Lorde, Jack Garratt and Vera Blue.

Kingston Crown the Origin

Kingston Crown originally started when Kenny and Craig realized that they found both liked similar music and after a meeting in Craig’s bedroom, wink wink nudge nudge and the unnamed project was launched.

After writing a few songs together the boys recruited an old friend and “The beat Maker” Mr. Rick Berry, who is considered the backbone of the beat and with not much persuasion over a cup of tea they made it official.

At this point Criag and Rick took charge by they where heavily influenced by their past, which was rather heavy and somewhat, unrefined.

So the search began for a compatible creative and a suitable bass player who would be able to see the vision of the group, after many disappointing failed attempts Rick recruited classmate Alex and it was clear to see that he was the missing piece of the puzzle.

Jimmy - The life and soul behind the keys

We all knew when forming the band that we'd love to play with a keyboard player to fill out our sound and through sheer luck and awkward timing we met Jimmy. He still baffles me with the stuff he plays, it's always exactly what you didn't know you wanted. I can't help but be a little jealous thinking that maybe i'd be on his level if i hadn't stopped playing piano. But i know i'm being delusional, he's going to be massive. Marlee Grace is an Indie Folk artist with a passion for music. She grew up in Warrnambool and developed her love for performing in musicals and children's entertainment. Marlee moved to Melbourne to complete her Bachelor of Music at JMC Academy, where she evolved into a captivating solo singer-songwriter. She now performs at local venues and pubs in the Macedon Ranges, where she recently moved back to her country roots. Marlee has released four solo EPs and has been working hard to improve her production skills, recording and producing the last two EPs herself. She plays both keys and guitar and loves to perform a mix of originals and covers. Her music is known for its soulful vocals and heartfelt lyrics, which have earned her a dedicated following. Despite her growing success, Marlee remains down-to-earth and grateful for the amazing opportunities that have come her way and those who continue to support her in her musical endeavours.
